What happens if a customer doesn’t pay their bill?

The customer’s utility will charge the customer for the bill again the following month for the amount owed and amount due.

If the customer does not pay their utility bill over multiple months, the utility will exercise its normal bill collection methods – including potentially disconnecting the customer.

The partner will be alerted by EnPowered if the customer has missed a payment. Regardless of whether the customer has paid their utility bill, their contracts remain binding.
